MANILA, Philippines – After over five years off the runway, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion show returned for a 2024 edition on Wednesday, October 16 (Manila time) in New York City, USA. The show was recorded live.
The esteemed fashion show’s comeback was announced in May. The 2019 edition was previously canceled as the fashion brand said that it was “important to evolve the marketing of Victoria’s Secret.”
Victoria’s Secret promised inclusivity for this year’s fashion show, saying that this iteration “will reflect who we are today, plus everything you know and love — the glamour, runway, wings, musical entertainment, and more.”
In an exclusive interview with American website TODAY, model Mayowa Nicholas said that the 2024 edition of the major fashion show is “all about celebrating women.”
“I feel like this is the year for women, and it feels good. Everybody’s from different backgrounds, ethnicities, and we’re all just coming together to just make this amazing show. It’s different from the past shows,” she told TODAY.

Several big names graced the fashion show, including Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Irina Shayk, Tyra Banks, and Taylor Hill, among others.

Famed Brazilian model Adriana Lima also made a comeback on the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway. She walked her first Victoria’s Secret show in 1999.

Meanwhile, English veteran model Kate Moss walked down the Victoria’s Secret runway for the first time at 50 years old.

Plus size model Ashley Graham also made her Victoria’s Secret debut at the show.

The fashion show also featured an all-woman lineup of performers for the first time, seeing South African artist Tyla, BLACKPINK member and solo artist Lisa, and American music icon Cher perform their hit songs on the runway.
