MANILA, Philippines – Filipino golf great Cassius Casas died on Monday, November 18, in Davao. He was 57.
Casas’ sister, Angie, said he suffered from heart attack.
At the peak of his powers, Casas reigned supreme in various tournaments, including the 2000 Philippine Masters and 2001 Philippine Open.
Casas also got to play against golf legend Tiger Woods in an exhibition at the Mimosa Golf Course in Pampanga in 1998. – Rappler.com
